Michael Ray has been in the mortgage business for more than 20 years. He joined Susser Bank in 2023 and previously was with City Bank. He spent 12 years with Affiliated Bank and seven years with Countrywide Home Loans.

Michael has worked with thousands of families to manage their mortgage needs whether it was a refinance, new construction or first home. He works diligently to find the right program to fit the needs of each client who becomes a part of his Lender for Life program, a source of industry information designed to help clients make informed decisions about their mortgage needs for life.

He was recognized as a Top Producer for multiple years by Countrywide Home Loans and Affiliated Bank Mortgage and received the President’s Circle Award in 2021 from City Bank Mortgage.

Michael graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science.  He serves on the Ross Volunteer Fire Department and is a member of the Heart of Texas Builders Association and the Waco Association of Realtors.

Michael, his wife and three children reside in Waco, Texas, where he was born and raised.
